On August 26th 2025, UASU Chair, Secretary and Treasurer held their first meeting with the new Council Chair, Prof Chacha Nyaigoti Chacha, for a briefing on several key issues that require the immediate intervention of the Council. While we welcome the affable demeanor of Prof Chacha Nyaigoti, a departure from the former Council Chair, we remain cautious albeit optimistic that the University will make a turn to it’s glorious days.
