Today, 23rd September 2024, UASU made a big statement about the belated National CBA 2021/25. Despite notifying the Police on 19th Sep. 2024 of the intention to match peacefully to present their petitions in Parliament, Treasury and Ministry of Education, the Police employed crude tactics, lobbying tear gas at unarmed and peaceful lecturers. However, the petitions reached all the intended offices. UASU will keep forging on as learning is completely paralyzed in all public Universities.
